Minimum of 5 years of significant work experience in handling aviation security.
To implement the Company’s Security programme in the areas covered by the business units to prevent acts of unlawful interference, thefts, frauds and other allied acts and to advise the senior management on any changes or improvements necessary to enhance the Security of the Company.
Study the procedures adopted in the Business Unit to safeguard the Company‘s assets from thefts, frauds and other allied acts and monitor the implementation of same.
Conduct surveillance in the area to prevent pilferage of baggage and cargo and also conduct surprise checks on staff to deter them from being involved in such incidents.
Conduct security investigations as instructed by the Line Manager to ensure all investigations are properly recorded and conducted as per pre-defined procedures.
Acquire a good knowledge of the Company Security policies, operational procedures, the Sultanate of Oman Civil Aviation and DGCAM regulations and IATA / ICAO Security regulations, standards and recommended practices.
Attend Security meetings when ever requested to do so and submit reports.
Investigate and submit reports with recommendations into Security related incidents in the area covered.
Ensure that the staff are smartly turned out and punctual in reporting for duties.
Carry out any other duty as assigned by the senior staff of the department.
