Qualifications
Engineering Degree / AME/ LWTR
Professional: Approved auditors course like IOSA bodies and Investigations course.
Good man management & time management skills
Sound knowledge in airline specific auditing function
Good proficiency skills both in Arabic & English
Computer literate
Experience Required
7 years of aviation industry experience out of which at least 3 years of Quality / Regluatory exposure is mandatory
Monitor the daily performance of the areas allocated to Senior QA Engineer and highlight and deficiencies noted.
Coordinate with all parties concerned for the proper and timely corrections of all deficiencies.
Establish effective and efficient systems to constantly review quality of work performed in his area of responsibility.
Constantly review and recommend if necessary establish notices and awareness, update of policies and procedures as set forth in the Exposition to incorporate changes in regulatory and company requirements.
Administer Company’s Authorization System, Aircraft MEL and Company Exposition.
Monitor, follow up and control concession and Dispensations.
Specify tests / calibration procedures and limits for all tests and calibration equipments. (monitor and assure the validity of all calibrated equipments as per the procedures)
Administering, sentencing and accomplishment of modifications and inspections related to his areas of responsibility.
Monitor and assure the Airworthiness validity of all aircraft documents.
Carryout incidents/ accidents investigations throughout SENTINAL System, (AOR, ASR, SDR etc) and recommend corrective actions to prevent their reoccurrence
Workshop capabilities evaluation, scrutinize applications for approval of aircraft/ engines, and components and DGSAS license applications (LWTR) and make appropriate recommendations.
Prepare and arrange aircraft delivery and aircraft return conditions.
Initiate to obtain new/ renew Radio Equipment License certificates from TRA.
Carryout audit on in-house, line stations and oversees (Overhaul/Maintenance/Repair) facilities to ensure Oman Air set standards is maintained.
Assist in conducting Technical and Company procedures and Board exams of Engineers/ Technicians.
Undertake any other tasks related to AAI as and when directed.
