Successful candidate will implement, administer and support the IATA Cargo2000 project expectations within Cargo. Ensure provision to all Etihad offices/GSA/GHA of educational sessions implementing the requirements to deliver full compliance of targeted expectation.
Previous experience of implementation and/or management of Cargo2000 messaging requirement and process expectations within a carrier environment with technical knowledge of all system interfaces with Cargo2000 project management and all network handling partners. Have worked for an Airline or Ground Handler for 3-5 years with a working knowledge of cargo operations AND a background in IATA messaging
Knowledge and experience of IATA e-freight requirements
Excellent knowledge of all MS Office applications with advanced capability on Excel
Your responsibilities shall include but not limited to:
Administer and implement, in coordination with the Cargo Handling team, a Messaging Improvement Program which will require close co-operation and interaction with all network handling partners.
Regular monthly reports will need to be generated and results reviewed to determine where improvements are necessary, these improvement plans must be communicated and followed through to successful conclusion.
Be an integral part of Etihad’s IATA e-freight initiative and will work closely with both the Handling Management team and IT Management to deliver expected goals and requirements.
