FINANCIAL SPECIALIST
THE U.s. Embassy in Kuwait is seeking an individual for the position of a Financial Specialist in the Financial Management Office.

Requirements:
Education:
Possession of a four-year University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.

• Experience:
At least five years of work experience as a Budget Analyst or Financial Specialist with a U.s. Government Office and/or seven years of work experience in budget work, accounting, auditing and financial analysis with a corporation or company with a multi-million dollar operating budget. At least three years serving in a supervisory position.

• Language skills:
Fluent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking).

• Knowledge/skills:
Expert knowledge of the ICASS Handbook, the Department of State's Standardized Regulations, Foreign Affairs Manual and Handbook (FAM and FAH), pertinent Comptroller General and General Accounting Office Decisions, Office of Management and Budget and Department ofTreasury policies, regulations and guidance.

Expert level of skills in MS-Office software. This includes MS Word, Excel and Access. Working knowledge of Web-PASS, Web-ICASS, Web-RABIT, and COAST is desirable.
