Other Duties:
A programmer is responsible for developing software based on a defined set of design and performance requirements. A programmer may be called upon to partner with a Business Analyst and/or with customer function managers in the development of requirements. Programmers must ensure that their developed software meets or exceeds requirements. Skills specifically include: At least 2+ years experience using ASP.NET, ASP, C#, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PL/SQL, Visual Basic, VB.NET, & XML, and designing and developing enterprise web applications and software libraries utilizing ASP.NET, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, ODBC, Perl, SQL Server: DTS Packages, Visual Basic and XML on Windows and/or UNIX operating system platforms. At least 1+ year experience developing web services and using Web/Application Servers such as Apache, Fatwire, Update Engine, ISS, WebSphere, etc. Candidate must be able to contribute/provide end to end software project engineering support for moderate to comp!
lex projects to include scheduling, source code design, data object modeling and test plan writing; be able to work individually and team projects; define and implement client software life cycle development processes including software development procedures, source code version control and formalized documentation.
