Sales Specialist – IBM zSeries-Saudi Business Machines-Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

Employee in this role is responsible for selling IBM zSeries directly to customers and provide pre-Sale support to our Client Representatives & Client Managers.

The Sales Specialist should have comprehensive knowledge of the IBM zSeries offerings and is responsible for the sales achievements and customer satisfaction in IBM zSeries Brand.

This professional typically leads large and/or complex opportunities, where customers are national or otherwise significant, take our market-share back from our competitors and is responsible for winning the business in both competitive and non-competitive environment. The role will also require constantly driving a pipeline of new opportunities and techniques for increasing the size of the transactions.

Other duties will include account planning, call planning leadership and working pro-actively with the other areas of SBM locally and IBM internationally where required. Solid business development skills as well as a strong understanding of how large hardware deals are transacted is essential.

Experience with competitive offerings is strongly desired. The ideal candidate should have extensive sales experience (5 years) with a proven track record of year-over-year revenue growth.

Understanding and experience with IBM zSeries hardware & related software
Able to understand and qualify the business issues of an opportunity. - Expert sales experience and proven ability to progress the sales process in a complex environment.
Have in-depth sales, business and professional skills to work with any level of customer management.
Experience selling to medium and large enterprises.
Experience building business cases and presenting IT solutions to the business.
Accountability and proven ability for achieving significant sales results.
Opportunity/territory management tools skills and experience (Forecast discipline and experience in pipeline management).
Ability and exhibited experience at teaming across working Network
Ability and exhibited experience at teaming with Business Partners.
Use of call planning/deal progression discipline.
English: Fluent, Arabic: Desired
